Haven't been able to use my truck since Christmas dsy 2025. Had driven to my Family's house for Christmas 90 miles away. Parked it and spent the day with them, tried to start it wouldn't start. Had to jump start it, it startex right up and I drovd straight home. Parked it. Then next morning went to start it, wouldn't start. Had the battery load tested was all good. Had the alternater, starter, starter relays, fuses etc tested. Even changed out the relays and fuses. Still having no luck as to what might be wrong. My mechanic seems to think it might be the fuse box. Having no luck finding a new or used fusebox... anyone else have any ideas?
Also one of my friends said there might br a relay or switch on the side of the transmission that is bad?? Anyone heard of that being ona F250?

This isn't something that should be guessed at. You need to find a good diagnostic tech and let them look at it. What exactly is happening when it won't start, does it crank but not run, or not crank at all?
If YES, Attempt to actuate the starter by energizing the starter solenoid signal wire.. That wire is clipped to the battery tray on the right (passenger) side of the engine compartment. It will be a single wire connector and the wire on both sides will be brown with a green tracer. Disconnect it and use a jumper to apply +12v to the male side of the connector. If the engine does not crank, you have either a bad starter or a problem with wiring, likely between the battery and starter or battery and frame/engine grounds. The connector can sometimes be difficult to reconnect. A little silicone spray will fix that.
If NO, the problem is probably the transmission lead frame, range sensor or possibly the shift shaft has some corrosion or debris not allowing the transmission to fully engage Park.
You'll need to use a scan tool (if available) to see what gear the transmission is reading and whether the PCM is inhibiting cranking..
Chock the wheels and lightly tap the shift lever on the side of the transmission to get it to engage P and allow the engine to crank. I don't remember off the top of my head whether Park is all the way forward or aft, so you may have to try it in each direction. If this allows the cluster indicator to light up and the engine to crank, you've found the problem.
Post your results and we can move on from there, if necessary.
