Cylinder contribution test
To distract myself from my trans issues, I thought would do a cylinder contribution test. It did tell my voltage was too low and couldn't run the test. So sure enough, alternator is on it's way out. I did manage to get the batteries up to 13 volts and get a test off. Which all 8 cylinders failed. Maybe the lower voltage caused this?
Having said that, the truck runs real good. No complaints. Was just curious. Didn't have a reason to run the test, just wanted to see if it would pass.
