1969 C850 Vin Decode
Hello all,
I picked up a 1969 C850 recently and am having trouble identifying the engine, and curious if anyone can give me a hand? I've heard that the C850 received either the 477 or the 534, but I can't seem to confirm either. The VIN is C85LUF51009.
Any information would be great, thank you!

C85 = C850
L = 534 4V Super Duty gas V8
U = Louisville Assembly Plant
F51009 = 1969 numerical series, August 1969 production.
Lota rainy seasons since August '69, but chances are it's still a 534.
Super Duty engines are a bit tough to find parts for, and are single digit MPG rigs.

I haven't been able to get the engine to fire up yet, so I was considering an engine swap anyways; single MPGs makes the decision to pull the engine a bit easier. Might make a nice boat anchor.
