Help identifying
Under the dash I'm not sure what it is,has a stock radio in a 96 F-250

Not on a 96 F-250, but something else I had I can't remember but there was a plastic rod with a slot in it that was used to place up in there to adjust for best signal locally. If your signal is fine don't worry about it.

High to low converter.

The high level stereo speaker outputs likely go into one side and then the two RCA outputs (white and red) will go to an amplifier.

Thanks I thought it was some kind of stereo equipment maybe,so that helps out

If you hook it up to an amp, the dial acts as a gain adjustment.

Was wondering the dials purpose don’t think I want to mess with it since radio works well thanks for your help
