My birthday and anniversary was fun, we did a little fishing. We both caught one, it was a little cool that day so we ended up hanging out in the camper had lunch, took a nap and just relaxed. On our way home a tree had taken across the road, of all things I had a little survival chain saw with us, you can see it laying on the tree. It did the job, the tree was small enough and dead we probably could have thrown a rope around it pulled out with the truck and busted it off. But what fun is that when you have a survival tool to use.
Nice photos. Looks like you had a great time.
Got the truck back. Runs fine. However, I have used up all of my reserves and pray there will be no more truck issues for a while now.

Looks like a relaxing day , fyi makita battery chain saw has saved me while out hunting, it’s small compact , lightweight, no fuel to deal with, or having three monkeys to pull start it , just push the on button and start cutting, it comes with extra batteries and a 14” bar

That sounds great!
Two years ago, we got a Milwaukee M18 Hatchet. Smaller bar (about 10"), but it's easy for my SO to handle it. has been immensely helpful, and is super easy to operate (like you say).
Yesterday the manager of the apartment called me and said an Amazon driver backed into my truck. I was thinking, "great, I just had the scooter lift replaced" So I went out there to check it out. Turns out there is a very slight scratch on the lower right side of the aluminum platform the scooter sits on when being hauled around. Can't even tell it was hit unless you knew where to look. They wanted to make sure the lift still worked, so I demonstrated it for them. I'm guessing the bumper of their van must have hit it because I don't think the fender would have made that scratch. Anyway, I was relieved it was not caved in like it was when I backed into the church's gate.
Happy here, and a great Memorial Day to all of you. My Mom & Dad always called this Decoration Day, and we often made the trip up to NE Illinois to place flowers on my grandparent's graves.
Fog rolled in last night, and dropped the temp down into the 40s. When we got up this morning the fog was rolling in and out here at 2400 feet. Fog rolls in, the temp goes down. Fog rolls out, the temp goes up.
Then this morning we went down to the local firehouse for the annual pancake breakfast. Saw a bunch of friends and got the nickel tour.
My truck hates me. Pure and simple. I can't think of any other explanation for it. Yesterday I decided to upgrade my cell phone. I initially went on their website but got the bright idea to go to a local Xfinity store so I could get the phone yesterday instead of waiting a week for it to show up in the mail. On the way there this person pulls out in front of me and then slows down to make a right turn. I change lanes and accelerate to make it through the light. The yellow wrench icon shows up, and the engine goes to idle. Does not matter how much I press on the pedal the engine does not respond. So, I coast to a stop and turn the engine off. Then back on and everything worked fine. It is like the tps stopped working. Yet after restarting it worked fine. I drove it to and from church today with no issues. Makes no sense.
I hope everyone has a good day today, remember those who gave it all to keep us free on this Memorial Day.

We have or I should say my wife has a 12" Stihl battery operated chain saw, it works very well. It would have made short order of that little tree, but you have to have it with you to do any good.
