Under seat sub boxes

Anyone ever install subs under the bench seat? I have a 10" sub sitting on the back bench seat in the center right now and I want to reclaim the space to be able to fold the seat down without much fuss. I've seen installs in other trucks before, but never an OBS.

Single cab or 4 door? I had one of these under the seat for a short period:

There was barely enough room for that. I couldn’t imagine a normal sub fitting under the seat. I have a single cab. I ended up building a custom box for a normal 10” behind the seat.

Probably should have lead with that. It's a super cab. If I can get a 6.5" sub under both sides it would be enough.

dimensions of usable area under? If you can fit a 6.5” sub, you can fit an 8”.

What is the usable area behind the back seat and cab wall?

Different size subs have different volume requirements for the box if they're to sound correctly. I made this mistake on another project car making the box small enough to fit under the rear package tray. There was space to use, but it would have made for a complex box design. Trying not to do that again.

There is zero room in the back if I'm to retain the ability to fold the seat down flat. I was just curious if anyone here had done under seat installs on a bench seat before. I'll just have to pull it out and measure, no biggie.

Sorry I wasn’t help! If you post up the dimensions, I can toss ideas if you want. I used to build/install car audio back in the day.
