I think installing buckets in a Reg cab requires either some custom work or a 40/20/40 bracket. A single bucket I think would have to be custom if you wanted the passenger side empty. My truck is CrewCab but I do believe the reg cab shares the same floor pan and the PO of my truck installed buckets on to the bench bracket with some pieces welded in so it can be done but again a solo captain's seat would likely need some custom fab work. Seat brackets for buckets are available at JY or ebay but the mounting points are all wrong for a reg cab.

bronco seats bolt in on the outer seat mount holes. you will need to drill inner holes and re-enforce the floor around the inner bolt holes.
