I need to see pictures of how others mounted their tailgate support cables. I remove the stock chains installed hidden latches. I thought it had put a post out here about this but could not find it. I am working on my 53.
right now I have 18in cables, but wondering if I should use longer ones to get them mounted a little higher up on the taigate to be sure ther is good support. Need a bracket to mount the cables to the tailgate
