Decals

I was putting some locking doors on the little cubbies in the bed yesterday and I stopped to look at the truck.

I noticed the 4x4 decal and realized I hate them .... LOL. Anyone have a sure fire way to remove them without tearing up the paint?

Usually you heat the decal thoroughly with moderate steady heat and carefully start peeling back a corner of the decal. Once you get the corner started peeling, keep heating and the decal should peel off easily. Do not use high heat because you can damage the truck paint. If you remove the decal when new, usually you cannot tell a decal was there. Some decal adhesives require more adhesive removal after the decal comes off, but I dont think that's the case with the truck side 4x4 decals.

I have read of some people positioning the decal facing directly at strong sunshine and the sun heats the decal enough for removal.
