Pre Heat Shroud
I bought a 1983 F150 302 5L with a fisher plow a little while ago. There are of course things that need to be fixed. One thing I would like to fix is the pre heat to the carburator. I found out that I cannot get the shroud through the dealership anymore. I was wondering how somebody here may have frabricated one.

try one from one of the header companys, or bettr off have a muffler shop make one. if you are trying to get warm air to the carb on cold starts all you need to do is have a small peice if exhaust pipe the same outside diameter as the inside of the tube. have it cut flat, cut a couple of slots through it so that a hose clamp can pass through. cust hose clamp in to the manifold, and you are done, thats it..
