Not Impressed

Installed my Ford bugshield.

Do not like that it does not extend to cover the front of the fender.

Do not like the look on my white truck. It might look ok on a black truck, but it looks out of place on a white truck.

It will have to do, if I have nothing, the front of my hood will look like it has been sandblasted after my first GA to AZ trip.

In the old days, I bought a clear shield and painted the inside of it body color.

Yeah, just put a white wrap on the hood front. Or just take the truck into a bodyshop in 10 years.

Don't them things have the little "bumpers" on them to keep off the hood as the wind pushes down on it?

Another idea.. .Scuff and spray it with a single stage urethane in factory color. You can buy a spray can that mixes the components when you're ready to spray. Or you could go invisible and use PPF.

I think it looks fine. Blends right nicely with the black-out grille and air dam. I had to look twice to realize you were talking about the bug shield, and not the sunscreen behind the windshield.

Suggestions for you, get some clear plastic wrap material just on those exposed fender areas.

I actually like it and think it accents the truck nicely. I want/need one and think it would look good on silver too. The front of the hood looks alittle naked without it.

I use to put those on my trucks 20 years ago. They became so dated I didn't know they were still making them. Now the industry uses ppf on the hood. Super easy, invisible and protects great. I have it on all my cars. On the more expensive cars we do the whole car in ppf

Hard to notice anything on the truck after a glance at the plate. They are not forgotten.
