In a previous post, I introduced my '91 F150 with the infamous 300-6 4 speed manual needing a headgasket. After some teardown I found a crack in the block. So here we are some weeks later about to attempt my very first engine swap, however I had some questions.
The engine I'm swapping in, is from an auto truck and was mated to an E40D, I'm familiar enough with the process to know that I need to install a pilot bearing, and swap over/retrieve a new flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate. However, the pilot bearing I got from the parts store looks different than the one installed on the engine that was in the truck. Curious if anyone has a guide or some images to let me look at just to make sure I've got everything I need so I'm not making 500 trips to and from the parts store.
