1952 Ford F1
I just tried to search and cant find what I'm looking for so thought I'd ask.
I found that my left rear brake drum is cracked. There is a hairline crack that goes about a 1/3 of its diameter.I started looking for a replacement. Ones that say they fit are $150 or more but then came across a listing that said they fit 48 - 74 and were around $50. Does anyone know if this will fit?
I also dont like the look of the wheel studs and want to replace all 20 of them, I guess along with new lug nuts. Is this a standard size?
I had not dirven the truck since 2024 due to some medical issues and shoulder surgery.Dont feel to comfortable driving it anymore and plan to sell after fixing these issues Ive found.

Appreciate any input on these parts questions.
Thanks
$72 at LMC. $69 at Rock Auto, $59.95 at Dennis Carpenter.
Rear drum should be an 11" diameter with a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. Many vendors list it under these part numbers: 8C-1126-A, A8TZ-1126, A8TZ-1126-A, C4TZ-1126-A. I believe these were used through 1967. It seems that rockauto has the lowest cost equivalent at just over $40 each, but you obviously can shop around for any brand/quality preferences you may have.
For the studs, 8A-1107-A can be used. This can be paired with a standard 1/2-20 lug nut, B-1012.
I can't speak for the rear drums, but the '51 front replacement drum I got years ago was listed as about the same years as you described. I paid nearly $100 for it thinking it was correct since it was one of our reputable F100 suppliers. However, I had two issues with it. It was too wide and scrubbed the backing plate. I put it in a lathe and removed 1/8" from its edge. Second issue, it did not have the slot for the feeler gauge to help center the brake shoes, which I needed as all parts were removed, cleaned, and re-installed.
Let us know how the replacement rear drum works out for you.
