I have just completed the installation of the Speedway/ Heidts Mustang IFS. This pertains to 1948-'52 Ford F1 pick up trucks for folks keeping the Flathead V8. I would be very happy to help anyone with this install. I have notes, pictures, measurements etc.. I can save customers some time cutting, measuring, grinding... E Mail me with any questions. I will send info to your phone number, since I don't have a clue how to post photos on this site ! Me thinks it'd be easier to build a Nuclear Reactor !

Larryjr03, you are a gentleman with the true spirit of the FTE! Thank you. If I hadn't already struggled through that install, you would become my "go-to" guy. I'm confident that there are others that will be able to take advantage of your thoughtful gesture. You rock!
Just found your old thread. I’m considering installing an IFS in my 51 F1. The rear has already been converted to a four link.
Which of the Heidts IFS did you install (they have two levels)? Why Heidts? Did you consider any others such as CPP? Did you do coils and shocks, or coil overs. Which steering column?
Any info with the parts selection conversion would be appreciated. This would be installed by a shop.
