I recently aquire this one owner all original 1963 F100 with a 223 and 3 on the tree. The guy that had it before me had tried to get it running with an Amazon carb before he passed and his grandson sold it. I plan on rebuilding the original carb that came with it but the one on it has it running great. It is a 1904-style carb and I believe I am missing a piece or two. Can anyone send pics of their linkages or the part numbers for what's missing? Thanks in advance
I can offer a drawing from the Illustration master parts catalog covering 1957-1963. I believe it's the lower right corner of this one. The drawings only show a base part number like 9A717 that is then used to look up in the Text catalog for the exact applications of each base part number.
Here's the list of the 9A717 base numbers with the prefix and suffix added giving the complete part numbers by application.
If you give me the base numbers you need, I can look up the full part numbers for you.
The -C is for the Parcel Delivery vans (P-series). The -B seems like it might be correct. Unfortunately, those are obsolete and I'm not seeing any at the usual places (eBay, RearCounter, PartsVoice) so a used part might be the best option if you can find one.
Not sure how we missed that you are a new member....
So please let me be the first to offer a hearty, if not belated, Welcome to FTE!!
Nice looking Wrong bed, and I like your member name.
Also, it must be the month of wrong beds, as we have had four new trucks in three new threads including yours, and combined they offer a nice red, white, and blue tribute to our great nations upcoming milestone.
Anyway, thank your sharing, again, welcome, and please post some updates with how you are progressing with your '63. Photo's are always welcome, that way we can see, sometimes critique, but mostly share in your enthusiasm.
