I need an alignment (my fault), but if course, parts are worn out. In this case, it's radius arm bushings and tie rod ends.
I'm thinking of going polyurethane for the front end, because I can get a full front end kit from Prothane for a little over half of what they want for a SINGLE BUSHING.
Anyways, is there a particular manufacturer that you guys like best? I'd be doing radius arms and axle pivots.
What are the best quality rubber ones? I assume Moog is a solid choice.
One reason I considered PU is it's resistance to oil.
Dont go polyurathane. If youve ever played with polyurathane suspension parts, you'll know you cant dent it with your fingernail. It has about the same durometer as a 5 gallon bucket and it does a great job of transmitting noise and harshness into the cab.
Ford OEM are the best. Unfortunately, Ford hasnt made rubber parts for our trucks in 20 years, and anything NOS you find online will be be already cracking just sitting on the shelf.
Rockauto may be your best bet to find some name brand rubber parts. I went with the expensive s&b silicone body mount kit when it came due.
I dont recommend polyurethane. They squeak and they create a rough ride.
I have been using poly bushing for 20+ years and mine don’t squeak. Did you use the supplied grease? The ride is definitely more firm than rubber but I wouldn’t say it is a rough ride. You should try stock replacement shocks instead of the heavy duty version.

I agree, when installed correctly, no squeaks. And they pretty much last forever. I like the "one and done" benefit.
I have decided to go poly in the front, I understand it will be stiffer, that is okay. I will stick with rubber for the rear and cab bushings, if and when I end up doing them.
Thoughts on adding 1" spacers under my front springs? (Moog CC824) Aftermarket camber/caster bushings were installed with the last alignment I got.
I don't know if you'll be able to get the camber right with the CC824 springs plus a spacer. Do you know what the bushings are set to currently, with just the springs? Best I recall, max adjustment is 3.4 degrees, so if you're already at 3 degree correction, probably a no-go, but if only at 1.5 degrees now, might be ok.
