Windshield washer wiring
Working on a 69 F-100, the windshield washer pump was missing. I am installing a new one and was wondering if it makes a difference which wire goes where?

Normally they have a polarity plug so they only plug in one way. Reversing the wires may make the pump run backwards.

I have the polarity plug, I'm wondering about the motor itself, there are two single terminals that can be plugged onto the motor on either spade.
