Now I know what to do with the next engine I pull for replacement. Clean it and paint it up with a fresh coat of Corporate Ford Blue. I even have four small casters that I've been looking for a use for. Put a 16 gauge plate on the bottom using the oil pan bolt holes and thread the casters into it and theres the mobility problem solved. Thanks for the inspiration!
That is no small or big block chevrolet, that motor has an aluminum front cover that covers the timing chain and the water pump bolts onto the front cover, just like a ford engine
Chevs use a sheetmetal timing chain cover with about 12 1/4-20 bolts to hold it on and chevs water pump have 2 round holes for the water pump with bolts on top and bottom, It looks like an Ford block to me but could be anything......definatley not a chev......the cam snout has thrown me for a loop as have the radiused lifter valley ends, its an antique what it is
The table is killer cool whatever it is, and I have a radio similar to that also, But mine is a zenith long distance chairside with a huge lighted dial on top and a green tuning eye, built in 1937 it is designed to be used as a chairside table and has a small shelf on one side and a newspaper or magazine pocket on the other, the am works great on it the long distance part doesnt pick up many stations but the antenna on it is only 4 foot long, I use it almost daily, a local electronics shop still has 2 tube testers and some nos tubes, I've only replaced one so far........it amzes me people use to fix their own things, now they just throw it away and buy another chineese made job
I have many jap electronics so i shouldnt say anything
