i have a junk block and some pistons that could be a winter project that looks sweet. and i have seen the ford tailgate coffee table my grandpa has one, looks cool.
My dad can do that with blocks, but it comes from working on them forever
I can tell you a ford from a chevy pretty easily, and a FE from an non FE
But thats about it
As it has to do with heads/manifolds and location of dizzy
But you can also tell by some of the bolt holes for certain things (heads, timing cover, etc)
I want one too! It wouldn't go too well with my farmhouse country decorating style but hey - it's sure neat!
What Ford tailgate coffee table? Where can I find a pic of that?
You must not have kids. I like the design but my boys would have all sorts of stuff stuck in the cylinders and the glass would be shattered. At least they couldn't hurt the block....
This is one of the most outstanding coffee tables I have seen. It never ceases to amaze me of the creativity of the people out there. My big concern is that those wine bottles look like they might be white wines!
And just as an addition-no matter how hard I try beg or cry, my wife would never let me have it in the living room. I can have this in my garage, but (take a guess) there certainly is no room for anything like this in my garage.
And I just sent 5 engines to the scrapper cause I had no use for them and couldnt sell em! Seriously, that kind of thing might be worth some extra spending $ if you got bored and knew a good place to hock them like a swap meet.
