Downpipe spacing - photo request

Truck is a 2006 F250 SC LB manual trans...I am working through getting my cab and bed back on. I am trying to place the down pipe in the perfect position so it does not rub but cant figure out how close it should be to the transmission bell housing. On the 6.7's the downpipe has a tab welded to it that then bolts to the trans.....has anyone ever done that on here? Seems like a good idea to keep things from moving.

Can someone post up a few photos of your downpipe looking up from the ground and down if available so I can see the placement?

You're going to end up bending it or at a minimum snagging it in the process.

Why not just remove it from the turbo and tie it up snug against the block/trans with wire until the cab comes down?

My pipe is longer and has the curve at the bottom (Banks 4") and I am able to install and remove mine from the bottom and the auto trans is probably the same dimensions.

You may be overthinking it or creating problems that aren't problems.

Good Luck

I don't want to lay on my back and do exhaust if i can do it standing up next to the truck. Should be no reason anything gets crushed if the cab is lined up to the frame and let down slowly w/ the lift.
