Fixed Warp Hood

First, special thanks to Bob for pointing me in the right directions

I am a You Tube trained welder with Harbor Freight equipment, I have more to do but I am taking it to a body shop soon to get into primer so I stopped.

I spent $40.00 bucks at Home Depot for 3/16 treaded rods, nuts, washers, and 2” angle iron.

Instead of welding to the hood frame I used 3/16 rivets

Cut the angle iron to the width of the rib, drilled the holes and welded tabs at angles for the treaded rods.

i was able to bend the rods into the holes after threading them into rivets.

Because the rods have nuts on the back of the tabs I was able to adjust each side of the hood independently.

I may have to adjust the fenders a bit and notch the brace that is hitting the roller track on the passenger side.

Over all I brought the hood independently 3/4” on the driver side and just over 1/4” on the drivers side. The fenders in the front have a gap one one side and almost hit in the other.

Threaded rod fits great. May go back and try and bend up a little more

Roller bracket hits here, may trim it to go down but over all not a bad fit
