Good morning FTE , I made it home safely, I ended up rerouting and came down to the 5 for storm concerns, the Sierra‘s and cascade mountains already had Snow but more was expected to be slammed, my truck is 4x4 but I’m smarter than that to stay in weather conditions that would jeopardize travel, I knew roads would be better on 5 vs no plow on upper mountain roads, I haven’t totaled my fuel receipts yet , I’m kind of scared too .

My truck is a 4x4 but I have never used it in 4x4 mode only to see if it actually works. I wish it were a two-wheel drive model so it would get better gas mileage. However, as little as I drive it, it is a moot point.

I was surprised at the amount of rain we got. They stated we would get an inch today, and it might have actually happened. Don't care either way, because I stayed indoors all day.
