Hi folks, any know if these are available as a spare part? 1972 f100 passenger side door lock assembly is missing this little guy; lock mechanism keeps falling down into
the lock position.
Found replacement assemblies in the US but I'm here in Australia and looking to see if I can source one of these before I shell out for a full assembly.
Managed to find one from a supplier in Australia. Site says they fit late 70's early 80's falcons which were produced here in Australia. spring looks the same, the site doesn't mention anything about then being side specific. I ordered one, here's hoping it fits. Thanks for the replies.
Update: Received the spring, they are side specific and I received one for the driver's side, I need the passenger side.
Nevertheless, I just fitted it reverse, it functions the same, door lock now stays in open position.
