Question 1988 Ford Bronco II: Fuel pressure testing kit

Hello everyone,
I recently joined the Bronco club and picked myself up an '88. Trying to get it to start but there's a fuel delivery problem. I've already replaced the in-tank fuel pump, relay, and TFI. Fuse is good and the ECM has good ground and supposedly the last owner replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator and high pressure external pump within the last few years. I did some quick checks on the filters and now I'm replacing a couple of fuel lines; soon I'll be ready to test it.

But these fuel pressure test kits are causing an unexpected hiccup. So far I've bought two and had to return them both as neither the stand alone adapters nor the built-in ones that come attached to the lines fit onto my schrader valve. I've also removed the schrader valve itself and attempted to use the adapters to fit into the schrader valve opening and still no luck (despite the threads looking identical). I really don't want to strip the inside threading of the schrader valve opening so I'm being extra careful with that approach. Any help on a compatible kit or adapter would be much appreciated, thanks

You need (IMO) a 1988 FORD BRONCO II/RANGER SHOP MANUAL ...

They can be found on EvilBay as either used or a reprint fairly reasonably (FORD AUTHORIZED)

It will give you the TOOL NOS (FORD SPECIAL SERVICE or OTC) you will need and you can usually find these used as well . You can also buy these tools reasonably new online.

DO NOT BUY HU FLUNG DOO crap online or at a box store. It is junk. You will also need at the least a SCAN TOOL or CODE READER - OBD I

You are beating yourself to death and emptying your coin purse with no good result(s).
