I have a 1993 f250 with factory YY Colonial White that I am going to repaint soon. I like Colonial White and I like Two Tone. I have searched and searched for two tone trucks that had colonial white incorporated and have not come up with much. Did Ford not option the colonial white in a two tone? If anyone out there has a factory two tone with Colonial White I would love to see some pictures.
that’s a good looking combo especially with my mocha interior. I’ve seen this combo plenty but when searching, I rarely find pictures that will list it as colonial white and pictures on the internet are difficult to tell between Oxford and colonial.

OP. Forgot to post this earlier. I started a thread a while ago for paint samples. Might be handy. If you come up with more sample cards while youre searching post them up in there.

I know what you mean. Places that have them for sale are good references, they usually have a pic of the VIN decal, with the paint codes. Bring a trialer, and a few others like that. Classic car/truck dealers. Takes a while searching.

i always told people at the body shop oxford is a "white" white, and colonial is a "yellow" white.
once they saw the two colors together they knew what i was talking about.
Thanks for the work JJF20. I’ve actually had that thread bookmarked for a long time to reference those color charts. My previous statement about Palemino and Desert copper being the same color is based off the 95 chart you have posted in that thread. Palemino isn’t listed but desert copper is and uses the same CB code. For the life of me I cannot find a documentation that ford had back in the day on what two tone color combos were an option. Many sales brochures state to ask dealer about the two tone options. Of course, I can get a good basis of google pictures but it would be nice to see the actual dealer list of options.

I had made a post several years ago about 'unusual two-tone' paint schemes. I have never seen another like mine anywhere local -- Tucson Bronze XD (gold overall) and Desert Copper CB (insert) , but at one time there was my truck's inverse locally - but I haven't seen that one in years either. A fellow forum owner does have my combo in New Mexico...
I see a LOT of Oxford White (bright white) with various color inserts (dark blue, black, red, silver), dark blue with lighter blue, white or silver inserts, medium red with white, silver or gold inserts... I can't say that I've ever noticed a Colonial White two tone before, or if I had it didn't register that's what it was...
@cougrrcj
nice truck as well. I agree, I don’t have much experience seeing colonial white in a two tone combo so that’s why I was hoping to generate some more info on this thread because I don’t believe it is common. Oxford white ruled the whites on these trucks. That desert copper is really growing on me
