jig saw a lot quicker than undoing and then doing back up 10 little bolts for that valance, no swearing required, a lot cheaper too, and no waiting on parts...5 minutes and good to go, including dropping the kia catchers off
try it before sourcing a tremor valance, which you can do any time if you don't like the result of the diy version
always have a jig saw with a finer tooth multipurpose blade kicking around, not sure if a course wood blade would work so if you have that, a piece of string and a sharpie, and 18mm socket that's all you need, file or backside of a blade or flat tip is enough to knock off the shavings that hang here and there from the jig saw cuts
Lol... all that took you 5 mins. I love how people exaggerate.

anyone in Calgary bring one over and time me, take video and post it lol, happy to do free of charge, one of easiest mods I’ve ever done, will only be faster 2nd go round 😉
how long does it take you to break 8 bolts then impact off for Kia catchers, the only time on my back, one side then shimmy to the other then out and on knees jig saw about 14” along bumper both sides, then if you have string handy and sharpie you pull across and mark along string and grab jig saw and finish, goes through the plastic like butter...and seconds with file knocking a few gribblies off, maybe 6 minutes...haha
did that sound hard to you?
Don’t judge people man, been modding bikes and trucks for decades, fishing and hunting gear, chopping and giving diets to most things is my specialty and easiest, and been trades whole life so what got into your cornflakes? Some sort of weird envy or something?
and ps ‘all that’ was simply being descriptive so others could visualize the process and all the gear they needed to do it themselves and save the hassle for such a basic chop

I jigsawed the one off my 2018. I was over at a friends shop and we just finished up one of his projects. I looked at that snowplow on my truck and said let's give it a shave.
Took about 10 minutes total using a ratchet (he doesn't have battery stuff) and that included a minute or two of looking for a jigsaw blade.

lol yup, I wasn’t sure I was going to chop it as I was kind of digging all the black on front of my xl but had just finished removing the sway bar and then while the Truck was already ‘assuming the position’ and my coveralls still on I said ‘might as well’...when in rome haha, in hindsight should have done that first as I would have had more room to remove the sway but post lift even with the plow I still had room to get under it on my back
There is a science as to why the valance is the size it is, and it's got to do with smoothing out airflow under the truck to increase mileage.
We have different gearing, but my FIL swapped his 'snow plow' for a Tremor valance, and while he did lose about 1mpg, he's still getting a mile per gallon or so better than I am. He has 3:31s or something to my 3.55's. He also drives like a grandpa.
Do you think there would be any "science" advantage to go with the 2wd version? maybe half the mileage?
