Urgh, should have waited for a 27
So the XL Off-road package is now the same thing as the Tremor package?…minus the sticker on the bed and probably the Tremor wheels.
Cool.
The XL Off-road package is the box you’d check if you don’t want a crew cab, but want the capability.
But like y’all said, add the diesel, STX, and the off-road package…and you’ve probably got an $80k XL

On the other hand if you don't opt for diesel, one may be able to order what Tremor would otherwise bring and stay somewhere between 60k and 65k, details to be seen of course.
Is it cheap? No. But once the X plan and other incentives added, it can become a high 50k or low 60k Tremor-lite that doesn't make you buy a 70K+ XLT Tremor. We are living in a world where the base Raptor starts at 80k, whereas in my area you can still buy a single cab F250 with the regular XL Off Road package for low 50k if you are willing to settle for the 6.8 gas v8. Not a bad deal if you don't insist on a diesel and can live with 33s.

I have an XL that cost $190,000. I dont see a problem.
And you dont have to live with 33's. Ebay them, and put some Methods and 35's on. Or keep them, put RT's on one set, MT's on the other. My stock tires were rubbish in 25k.

I wanted a Tremor but didn’t want a crewcab.
So I ordered a SD the way I wanted and put aftermarket parts on it that are better then the parts that come with the Tremor package.
Now I’m glad Ford didn’t offer a supercab Tremor.😁
Tremor package parts are a better than FX4 parts but aftermarket parts are better than Tremor package parts.

The video I watched from TFL said the Tremor will not be available in Regular cab, not sure about Supercab versions though. If you want a Regular cab you'll have to go with the XL Off Road 35".

For those looking for as squishy as possible may wanna look at fox shocks or something softer than the 5100's. It would be pretty cadillac. My f250 is base suspension/spring rates (no packages added). It's solid and planted, firm, like a heavy duty, it isn't a half ton but i can and am daily running this thing and i'm really happy with how it turned out.

If I did get an XL offroad 35, I would probably still wind up modifying it to make it better. The big benefit would be the front axle LSD.
give it a shot, i did it on my lifted gladiator on 37's and could not live with it, was like motion sickness lol, so i had apprehension but read plenty about a different story on these hd ford trucks, so yeah just unhook one side link and zip tie it up and go for a drive and see, mine rails corners level and there's no ogo pogo on mine jerking wheel at speed simulating a deer avoidance, and it took just enough harshness out of front that i'm super happy with how it turned out, now front and rear feel the same
Not sure what LSD or locker is available for the 2023 and newer SD front axle. I think it’s the same front axle that’s in the Bronco. Maybe you could install the Bronco’s electric locker.
yup @GAZZILLA i am only gonna look into front diff options after i find out if i think i'll need it, i have doubts i'll need to add anything, i do a ton with gm half ton with a g80 and normal front end and i don't even have low range, just nice deep 1st gear and lots of boost torque and the aggressive offroad mode rarely used, it's a light truck, light front end, lifted on 33x10's and it has gotten me through and up everything while impressing me with trailer on or not, i have to learn the added weight and hd game over again as its been awhile, so far i'm only running about 900 lbs heavier than my half ton (i have 400 lb fuel tank in bed on it that won't need often with this 48 gal tank) and have been deliberately keeping this build as light as possible from options standpoint, especially front end, no extra batteries/bumpers etc., so i do believe i've mitigated the jump to hd while staying as light as i can...it will take a season or two to see how it does, if i don't get stuck or need recovery gear doing same stuff then should be fine with front diff as is...
