When I sold my 1949 F3 the buyer located in Louisville Kentucky had it shipped by Alpha Trans Services.
Don't know how much it cost because the buyer paid but all went well and professional.

My Granddaughter had her car shipped to Florida from Illinois when she tried to relocate last fall. (she missed us and came back) I tried to help set up the shipping. As soon as you get on those shipping websites you get bombarded by phone calls, texts and emails. Lot of promises and wide range of pricing. You are mostly talking to brokers, not rhe truckers. We tried several times, put down deposits. It doesn't matter. Total lack of communication. They don't pick up or deliver on the promised schedule. Everything eventually got there. She had packed her belongings into the car and flew there. So for a week or so she only had what she took in her luggage. I have found trucking companies don't communicate very well when I got shipments for my business too. Miss a mornings work staying at the shop for a morning shipment and they don't show up or call. Hard to believe it is that difficult to communicate when we all have phones we carry with us. Good luck

I’ve shipped larger items having the buyer arrange shipping using Uship. As far I know everything went OK but not being the actual person paying and arranging the shipping i don’t deal with shipper so I don’t know what happens after the items were picked up but they always showed up when scheduled and easy to work with.

I used a shipping broker (don’t remember the name) shipping included insurance. Worked out perfectly.

I've had two vehicles shipped, each using a broker. One was west to east and the other was north to south. I had long open windows and got many bids. Seems the best bids came from someone at the last minute trying to get a full load for a long haul. Bids were all over the board. Both wanted cash upon delivery and the services were both uneventful with services provided as agreed. Correspondence was good with both. Neither vehicle was a show vehicle.

I just used Bear Transport a couple of weeks ago and had a very good experience. Liz who does all the coordinating is awesome. They are a broker, but I had read positive reviews and after getting the run around with the owner operator operations out there who couldn't give me hard dates etc. I went with Bear. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

i transported my Camaro from Pittsburgh to MA in a fully enclosed trailer, 450 miles and it was $1300. I am sure prices are going up fast with the price of fuel rising.
