So,it appears that my truck base coat is Copper Metallic "Z code", but whats the two tone color? Wimbledon White or did they possibly do it in a light silver or is this a cream-colored yellow that's just very faded. Online, I really haven't seen anything as far as copper and white two tone.
So look at these cab corners, it makes me feel that it may have been a two tone paint job tho, I think this is more of a farm truck to an extent used here in Denver Colorado where I got it but I don't see or feel that somebody would go to the effort to get it painted two tone and then put the original Ford looks like pinstriping at the bottom makes sense
One downside for these old trucks, they do love to rust.
I don't have the ability to repair cab corners and quarter panels.
If my truck would have had rust in the usual places I wouldn't have bought it.
Mechanical I'm fair, body paint no way.
I'm glad my truck is copper metallic, I like the color.
Oh for sure the cab corners are going to get redone this summer I'm either going to do them after I get a welder or I'm just going to pay a guy 300 bucks to do it but they're going to be taken care of but you see that trim where it's painted around back of the cab as well as the pinstriping makes me think that was done by the factory
