Power Steering Pumps

My 04 Heritage 4.2L had a reman power steering pump installed by the Previous Owner. I've had the truck 6 years and as long as I've had it it works fine when cold or when moving. After it warms up sitting at a standstill and turning the wheel it doesn't hardly assist and whines. Start moving and the whine quits and it steers fine. Thinking about replacing the pump. Who makes a pump that's worth a hoot? Seems like whining and noise is a common complaint in a lot of reviews. I personally have heard recently of someone getting 2 pumps from Napa that wouldn't move any oil right out of the box.

Ford makes a good pump
Look for NOS Ford on Ebay
The NEW ford pumps were around 380 way back
Here is my spare I bought as I walked away from the dealer in 2000
Note the quick connect line and the new cap on the new pumps
I still buy the 58 dollar ones for clients, and every once in a while, I get a good one

It is full, fluid could probably could be changed. Doesn’t look like ATF, looks more of a yellow color.
