Intermittent overheating
I am passing down my 2009 Ford F150 lariat to a new driver in the family!
issue I am having with it currently:
It tends to over heat in idle and coolant in the reservoir tends to get emptied. There is no leak when running or driving. When in open air the temp regulates to normal. Even when there is coolant in the reservoir it is
boiling hot! There is a small crack near the cap. Will replace the reservoir as soon as it comes in.
hopping to see if anyone has had the same issue or what I need to do to investigate the issue.
water pump and thermostat replaced less than a year ago.
fuse relays have been checked and in good order.
