Fuel line routing
I'm in the midst of replacing the brake lines on my 1952 F1. While at it, I's also like to replace the fuel line. I have a 215, so the fuel pump is on the passenger side of the engine. Rather than follow the original route up the DS frame rail, across the front crossmember then back to the engine, I was thinking about following the middle crossmember (transmission support) to the PS, then going forward. Seems simpler, which got me wondering why they didn't follow this path back in the day.
Is this a bad idea?
