Ok im getting mixed views on something. Some are saying that i cant run 35" tires with a 4" sus. lift on my 90 ed. bauer bronco, and some are saying i can with only minor rubbing of the radius arms. Right now im running 31" tires, so if im going to lift it 4" why cant i run a 4" bigger tire (without cutting fenders).
Anyway, the point of this is this: Im running 31" tires, i just went out and measured them and they are actually between 29-30 inches tall, even the back ones with almost new tread on them. They are mud king brand tires. So what im wondering is if i get 35" mud kings or something like that, will they actually only be 34"s tall? Does anyone make a 34" tall mud tire as well?
Ive seen pictures of my year bronco running 35s with a 4" lift, and they have as much room as my 31s do now without anything being cut. Im not going to do any trail runs, or rock climbing or anything else like that. All i am planning on doing is running up and down the road as my daily driver, and playing in the mud every now and then. Im going to be running 10" wheels, with 3.5" backspacing. So after i lift the bronco 4 inches, will i be able to run 35 inch tires. If they rub on the radius arms or sway bars then thats fine with me cause my 31s do that now.
I have a 4" lift on my f-150, and I run 35x12.50x15s. I've had 3 sets, with no rubbing. I don't know if fender wells have different clearance with newer years. I thinkyou'll be just fine with your lift.
