Well she wanted pancakes, so I did that. Then went and worked in the shop getting ready for the SIL to come up tomorrow and install the mini split. Also made a lap to town for pool shed stuff, I am going to try and keep the momentum on getting the inside down. But that is all on me, even though I have a part time job work distractor.

Hello all and I hope your Saturday was good.

Sherry has been doing better each day. Against my better judgement and advice, she's occasionally getting around without using the walker. The folks at the orthopedic group didn't do anything for her Tuesday except they took some x-rays and got her an appointment for an MRI. The x-rays showed absolutely nothing, which is exactly what the Illinois x-rays showed. Oh, well; someone has a Mercedes payment to make I guess. Unfortunately, the MRI appointment is for next Tuesday. By then she might be running races.

I was supposed to go check on Clarence yesterday but something came up and Karl told me to postpone the visit.

Morning all,
It was a little frosty out this morning on our walk but as soon as the sun hit it it was gone.
It's supposed to get up to 60ish today so maybe I'll get a little more done on the 56.

Morning all. About to head out the door for Florida. I was looking at all the sessions I signed up for and realized I didn't give myself time to talk to some people I want to talk to.
Sam came over yesterday and we put in new condenser and points and it fired up for a couple of seconds. We were pouring gas down the carb and we weren't doing a good job.
Got the gas tank dropped as well. The gas in it looked more like ATF. It did burn though, very slowly. Yeah, the boss wasn't home to stop us from doing stupid stuff...

Afternoon all. The clock sprang forward, but my brain isn’t liking it all that much.

I drug my framing and roofing nailers out of the workshop to clean them up and see what condition they are in. The framing nailer had a case it was stored in so after a good oiling it was good to go. The roofing nailer didn’t fare as well. It works, but intermittently so I’m ordering a rebuild kit and will pull it apart and freshen it up.

Getting stuff done around here has not been going well, but I’m probably harder on myself that I probably ought to be.

Have fun, stay safe, and get out and enjoy the nice weather while it lasts.

Well the SIL showed up at 10:00 this morning and by 12:30 OR 1:00 we were heating my shop with the mini split. I went out and shut the propane tank off to save that $$. Also shut off the Mr Heater ceiling hung propane heater. Of course we 1st tested the a/c part of it, Brrrrrrr...so flipped it to heat and boy did it.

No more watching the propane tank level drop on a cold spell. Now I can keep it T shirt weather in there in the winter and not go thru propane like crazy. Also since it is a 220V 3 ton it is not going to have to work hard to heat or cool the shop. Never thought I would have an air conditioned shop.

Continued to clean up in there and work on the air compressor room. And now have a wireing plan for the new pool room shed. SIL even brought me 10 or 11 single gang boxes to use.

Sherry has gotten a case of cabin fever so this afternoon we went for a Model A ride into Fulton. It was our plan to go to the bbq joint right on the edge of town as we're coming into Fulton. They're closed on Sunday. We've been there numerous times but never on a Sunday. Ok; write that in our collective brains for future reference. Of course that's just a psychological ploy. We'll both forget that within a couple of days. There are a few other places we regularly go to and we chose our favorite Mexican joint and went there. We both ordered "full meals" and brought home well over half of each. I'm guessing we will have at least two more meals out of what we brought home.

Anyway, the Model A ran just great; especially since it hadn't been started in over two months.

Sherry was glad we got out but now her leg is hurting again. She took a pain pill so pretty soon she'll be nodding off in a recliner.

edit: oh, yeah. Sherry likes to leave the walk-out garage door slightly open overnight for the feral cat(s) to be able to get in out of the cold. Probably should have shut it yesterday evening. An opossum spent the night in the garage and made quite a mess. Turned over buckets and spilled contents. Knocked things off of low shelves. I got the privilege of shooing him out and cleaning all of that up before moving the A out of said garage.

Evening all.

Congrats on finally getting the mini split in Rich. You're going to enjoy that.

I got all my treasures put away in the garage and puttered around on a few things. I'm just hoping I can get to sleep easily tonight or tomorrow won't be terribly productive. The older I get, the less I like the time change.

Good evening youins. Got plenty of work stuff done and then out to mess with the new work vehicle to figure out what I "need" to do to improve performance or reliability. Did an oil, filter and air filter change. Fixed the Evap purge valve on wife's Escape, by fixed, I mean tapped on it and the whooshing air sound went away. New one is expected at Slo'Reilly tomorrow. This coming weekend is already getting planned for me. I need to check soil temperature to maybe get ahead of the crabgrass and weeds this year.
Good night all.

Daffodils are blooming. Bleeding hearts and irises are coming up. Lilac and rose bush buds are growing. I saw some other plants in flower beds coming up but Sherry wasn't there to inform me of species so who knows what they are?

Now let's hope we're not in for another blizzard this year.

I would normally post some pics, but with this new fangled phone I have not figured out yet how to send them from my phone to my email. So I can save them to my lap top and then easily attach them to a FTE post. I am working on it. Next time I will just text them direct to you Mike. Lol
