And Ford buried the t-stat housing under the intake. One bolt has wide open access. I took the TB off and barely got access but couldn't put any torque on the wrench. My baby scanner shows the coolant temp at 179F and stuck in closed loop. Maybe that's why my fuel economy has been going bad, it's probably running a little rich. I'm still under warranty but I really need my truck this week so if I could I would have done it myself. So I guess it's off the the shop.

It is possible to get that other bolt out. I was able to remove both of the bolts and get my thermostat out without taking off the intake but it was difficult

I got a wrench on it but couldn't turn it. Can you give me few tips to break that bolt loose? It thought there was room to get the t-stat housing out. I know if I take my truck in it will be at least 3 days.
Thanks.

I was able to do it as well on my buddy's, but had to get that second bolt out 1/64th of a turn at a time!
