I won't post the PM. But here is the basics of it. The comments are pretty enlightening too.

I'll post mine... it was actually in response to a complaint I had about my pickup bed camera (not the rear view camera on the tailgate, which is the subject of a software recall.)

This is the 'help' you get...

With regard to your pickup bed camera, if you haven't already, we do recommend that your vehicle be inspected by a Ford dealership to determine the cause of any symptoms your vehicle may be experiencing. Your local Ford dealership has factory-trained technicians, the most current engineering service information, and the specialized equipment required to resolve your vehicle concerns. If there is no coverage under applicable warranties, recalls, or ESPs, repairs and services would be your responsibility. Your next step is to make an appointment with your servicing dealership to have your vehicle diagnosed. Once you have done so, we'd be able to determine what kind of assistance is available to you regarding your vehicle concern.
You can locate dealers in your area by using the following link:

Exactly. The help is that they think you are so stupid that you need to go a dealer, have them tell you what's wrong, then come back here and tell them what the dealer said so they can tell you that you are not covered by warranty.

FORD Pro should be kicked off the forum. They are simply trying to appear as if they are helping people. Reality, they are just posting those responses to make it look like they are helping when in reality, they are just telling you what you already know, you have a problem and it is not covered by warranty.

At least I wasn't the only one that got suckered into a conversation.

This isn't their problem.

Ask me how I know...
At this point the Ford company rep is making them look worse than if they are not here at all. All they do is what you described and sometimes post "Welcome" type fluff posts.
