body parts
that I bought and it was much thinner than oem!
I have also used LMC patch panels that are 18 gauge steel. I would say to stay away from the sellers on Amazon. I bought a fender from them. The price was good, but it must have shrunk in the wash because it was 1" short where it met the door! Return postage cost made me keep it and use for patches here and there.
I ordered from Tabco, but they called me about 5 days later and said they would have to make the part I ordered, and asked if they could make it shorter due to postage. I said yes, since it was a simple piece of angle steel. Another week passed and they had not even gotten the part in the mail so I cancelled. They may be a great co., but if I order from them again I will first call to make sure they have the part I need in stock and ready to mail. Good luck.
Amazon fender.
AF again.
AMD bed side.

I think the outside door-skin of the rear doors is a one-piece affair.
i came across a YouTube video early 2025, and the guys cut the cab and doors to extend the front area.
The aftermarket front door skins didn't match up with the OEM skins. They then cut-up standard cab doors for the correct match-up.
The aftermarket may LOOK correct, but the fit may not be joyful.
I bought two piece OEM cab mounts from DC. They didn’t fit. I got a return label from them, but it went to spam and I didn’t see it, and it expired. Now I have had them for months and don’t want to deal with trying to get them to pay for return shipping and a refund. The other odd thing was that they didn’t come with the holes for the cab bolts? Seems like every other ones do? Maybe a body guy would prefer to drill their own holes for proper fit? I wasn’t going to chance another bad set from DC, so I ordered them from AMD. I’m not sure how many companies sell the two piece, instead of the single stamped set. The AMD ones said they were the only ones that have the hole on the driver side for the parking break cable, so I bought them. They fit better, and were a thicker gauge than the original and DC, but they were made in Taiwan. They were also pre-painted/primed. I would rather they were bare steel and I’ll paint them myself with the primer and paint that I’m using throughout. I also heard that sometimes painted sheetmetal parts have rust come through later. I don’t know how well they prep the panel before they prime it?
So now I had to try another company. I went with Tabco because of price and the fact they were American made. I figured I’d get the floor pans first to try them out. The order was delayed by about a month. This was at the same time we started a trade war, so I thought maybe they were having problems sourcing the steel, and not loose their shirt on the price they already sold their products for? They did call and say they were waiting for more sheetmetal. I did get them and was happy the product.
So now I had to place the order for everything else. At this point I’m so far behind my self imposed completion date nothing matters. I figured I would stick with Tabco. I ordered about eight items. This time I had all the items in maybe a week. I’m happy with all of it. Eventually I have to order parts to fix the drivers door. I will order that from Tabco. The only thing I’ll mention, and it’s not really a bad thing, is that the some parts aren’t trimmed to perfection after they stamp them. So you may have to clean up a little extra sheetmetal. I would rather deal with that than any other problems.
I almost forgot. I ordered drip rails from LMC. They are not like the originals. I haven’t got around to asking who everyone gets their drip rails from. I doubt I will be using these. At this point I doubt I’ll get my money back for the cab mounts, so if you want to take a chance on mine, you can have them for the price of shipping.
