Hey all,

Sooooo, a couple weeks ago I was enroute home, and my truck was running about the smoothest it has run since we got it on the road. Well, quite literally around the corner from my house, as I'm trying to accelerate towards the entrance to my neighborhood, a rod (I believe, I haven't dropped the oil pan yet) decided to let go. Scrap one flattie (to be donated to a local high school auto tech class). Thankfully I was able to coast into my neighborhood a ways so as to be outta harm's way. With this, a fellow volunteer at the railroad museum I'm with, has offered up a 1993 Ford 460 with auto trans out of an RV. I'm curious if anyone's done a similar install. Since it's (I think) a throttle bottle fuel injected motor, I'd like to try convert it/retrograde to put a small carb on it, for the sake of keeping things simple, and maybe put an NP435 trans with PTO (so to be able to put a good sized winch on the bed) behind it. Any recommendations or pictures?

As a side note, since I've decided to move away from having a flattie in the truck, I now have an NP210 (the 5 speed with OD) and a T-98 (parts lot) transmission I'm willing to part ways with.
