I just built a garage and installed a vehicle hoist. Are these the correct hoist points? 2025 F250 Lariat 8’ box 7.3l gasser. I gave it a good shake while it was close to the ground and it seemed fine. Just a little nervous because I have no hoist experience.
Thank you, but it is a legitimate question. I ordered 2 supports for a safety at each end. I could really use a professional opinion to feel safe under it.
@Pelican3 I built space in my garage for a 2-post lift but haven’t bought one yet. I’m looking at Halo. Did you install yours yourself? How difficult was it? I’m ready to get this done, maybe this spring.

I installed a Bend-Pak XPR-15C. My neighbour owns his own heavy duty mechanic business and was moving locations. He only used this lift for about 5 years and asked if I wanted to buy it. He installed it for me, and it looked very straight forward to install. I have 8” thick floors so I was able install one this heavy. I can post more pictures if you would like.

We poured 8” floors too but I’m only looking into the 10k lb lift. It’s 12’ tall and I’ve got 15’ flat ceilings on one side. Please post any and all pics you’d like. Base plates, etc. I’m sure most would like to see them. Thanks!
I would say that if you're on the frame rails and it's balanced, you're good. Do NOT put them on the rear springs, that's asking for damage since they aren't meant to be loaded that way. I would hesitate to lift from the front control arms, but it might be okay.
