Wow, another pig in a poke build.... Don't bother to remove the curl in the bed sides just in front of the rear wheel openings. ( From lifting the body with a post lift) Tack a square tube between the rear frame rails, and tack the rear bumper to that.... Open hole in fire wall where master cyl was. Finishing the build would be a major project... The under side picks reveal, tack welds holding everything together.... Just sad... Wiring dragging on the driveshaft.... Just wow.
Ha ha, mis drill the filler hole in the bed? Tack the metal plug back in and smear some bondo over it, don't sand it, just paint over it!

Yeah that instrument panel and hole in the firewall are real head scratchers. Makes you wonder what other hidden surprises there are besides what @FarmMotorSports pointed out. I'd still buy it for the right price.
Oh Yea, Bring An Enclosed Trailer, so you don't loose any parts on the way home! The more under side pictures I examined the worse it gets! Floor rust some with panel bond leaking out some not... Steering shaft u joints welded to ground down shaft...
Better than the last one? I strongly disagree with that. This thing is a wreck. Close ups of the hood look like a deep pitted rusty old hood with red paint sprayed on yesterday. Cargo tie downs, yet all the cargo space is gone due to the "raised diamond plate floor" ....for what?
Bidding is at 2500 now, thats where it should stop IMHO. What a shame that rare truck fell into the wrong hands
Curious as to what you think makes it better than the last one. Aside from the fact that the previous owner took a bath on that one, it was mostly original and unmolested. This thing's a ticking time bomb with little time left on the clock. Would've been worth more if they left it original. What's the right price for you?
I've seen lipstick on a pig before but most don't apply it with a roller.

Personally I like it better than the last BAT truck but it's definitely not for everyone. I love the year and body style (I do not like step sides), I like the Crown Vic swap, and the original truck seems fairly solid. If the price is right and it's closer to me I'd buy it and fix the flaws. I'm retired, I've got plenty of time.
