That is how my truck came from the factory, PS only.
I added power brakes ad factory AC from my parts truck. Yes I replaced half the firewall so the HVAC box would bolt up.
If this was a 2WD truck it would most likely have the large kingpins and large wheel bolt pattern at least that is what I have found when checking with others.

His seal looks ok in the pictures from what I see.
It also is not as bad not hoving it on a 300 motor truck as the water will only drip on the back of the valve cover and bell housing.
On the v8 motor trucks it drips onto the air filter lid and when it fills up the water goes down the wing nut stud down the carb and hydro lock the motor if full enough.
But yes for the $4 get the garage door bottom seal for that cowl seal works great.
I used the plastic washers that were on the nails that come with the seal on the screws to hole it in place.
I only see a few things that need looking after on but he just got the truck and he is working on it so I understand.
Got to give credit for having the jack & handle and lug wrench in the right places and I see the motor to firewall ground wire
Other than what the mice did the truck is in really good shape.

It has the 5 on 5.5 wheels, which I have a bunch of spares. After reading about some having car wheels
I went an measured. I also have 2 new white spoke wagon wheels, but they are 5 on 4.5, that fit my old Galaxy.
I did not notice the king pins, I'll check when the sun comes up. "I say that a lot".
I am very happy that it has front disc brakes. Next item is packing the front bearings. Hopefully they are in
good shape. Fuzzface mentioned something about clutch linkage that seemed important. I'll also look
into that.
