sooo

What do you guys think? Its a work in progress since I lost my license I have been tryin to restore her as cheap as possible by doing everything myself and getting the cheapest prices for decent parts.....I love LKQ they have saved me about 500 bucks on misc. items, and its finally warm enough to start doing the body work and paint...that is if this rain stays away for a couple days!

S.N. I paid 1200 for it with 111000 miles on it, she has the 5.8 e40d 4x4 xlt lariat, with the quad shocks, front and rear sway bars, front and rear 3.55 ls, rear auxillary leaf springs, new cooper m+s tires trailer tow package, dual tanks, all the power options in the cab with near perfect interior and a 3" body lift...just wondering what you guys would pay for it as is, I have used the milky white rust converter on the frame and chassis parts and sprayed 3 coats of rust reformer flat black over that, put all new rear drum brakes wheel cylinders and all new hardware, rear brake hose and lines up to the abs unit, brush guard, tuned up the engine which runs great now that I replaced the tps, cleaned the throttle body and seafoamed the gas oil and intake. Put new monroe shocks front and back, and a brush guard....what would you pay for it as is, or with bed and body work and paint job finished in flat black?

Well done man, I was under my truck the other day thinking of doing the same thing. My plan is to locate a new box with dual tanks but was gona clean up the entire chassis while the box was off. You've inspired me to do it even more now... great pics too. Keep it up, looking forward to seeing it finished in the future.

I still havent found a decent dual tank long bed at a reasonable price yet, thinking of just fixing my old one with patch panels, sheet meatal, and lots of filler. Maybe fabricate some new middle bed sills out of some square stock or something.
