there is anti-pump up lifters.
this site offers them but I have yet to hear anything good or bad about them.
are you looking for an upgrade or wondering whats in your stock engine?
I bought a 79 Ford Bronco that has a 351M in it. The person before me built the motor, he told me it had been bored 30 over, decked, honed, and balanced. It has forged pistons and rods, with roller rockers and cam. He also told me it had anti pump up lifters. I had heard of all the other stuff just never heard of those lifters. I am not a mechanic so I dont know engines, I just know what you have to do to take car of them. The motor sounds good and pulls good. Just need to fix the exhaust leak.
they seemed to have good benifits but I would be concerned with the noise and with them having these bleed down/pump up properties tells me they maybe influenced by different oil. like a fluid damper in a shock. thicker oil- slower stiffer movement. or do they get noisier when the oil gets hot.
they also claimed 3" of vacuum increase. is that possible? or that engine had a intake leak before and not after.
