blue/white smoke
It's been sitting for about 2 years, recently I got it running again, new lift pump, dropped and cleaned the tank, new filter, diffrent injection pump. Now when it runs at idle it has constant blue/gray smoke and when you are under throttle huge clouds of white/blue smoke. The motor did this the first time I saw it run after the shop installed it (rebuilt? my ***), they where supposed to change it, but never did. They did something to almost eliminate the smoke problem. It has excellent/even compression, but smokes like a bitch. It seems to have good power, but i've only taken it around the block. It also starts really well.
Cracking the line on each injector seems to cause it to miss.
Edit: Smoke increases are rpm increases, and the motor also starts to stumble at higher rpm. Throttle responce seems great.
Any ideas, advice?
Thanks

First welcome to FTE.
Here are some information:Blue or blue/white smoke:
Caused by insufficient fuel or oil consumption. Normal when engine is cold or idling for extended periods.
Excessive smoke could be caused by air in the fuel, contaminated fuel, loose or plugged injectors, thermostat stuck open, oil consumption, plugged crankcase depression regulator valve, retarded injection pump timing, or defective injection pump.
hope it will help
