Hello FTE , reminder , if you do go buy something for your honey , make sure it’s not , let me repeat Not , cleaning supplies, cook ware , a new mop or broom , this will get you 8-20 in solidarity confinement with no chance of a decent conversation for months , stay safe with expensive roses or her favorite food, not Taco Bell either , the bill has to be overly priced to where you must work it off for the rest of the month , yea that’ll make her happy

why I wasn’t getting notifications for FTE February all BS chat 
, and now I know why , everybody is still in January 
,
Jim if you were closer to Manteca , I’d set you up with our mechanic, I’m sure he’d be loads cheaper but don’t really know for sure about the price of a Cat ,
nice sunny days over here , expected Saturday rain but they’ve been wrong before , like last year this time weather guessers said only 1/2” of rain , we got 6” of rain which was the worst flooding we’ve ever seen in the valleys , our creek couldn’t hold another drop of H2O.

04badford I can get a CARB compliant cat on eBay for $540. If I lived in Oregon, it would be around $120. For something like this I want to make sure the cat I get is the one I need. This truck has FOUR cats, (Thanks a lot Ford) and I don't want to spend $540 and find out I bought the wrong one. I had to take a pic of the under-hood sticker and give them a number before they could determine the price. And it may go even higher. The one I need is the passenger side front one and I am told I should not drive it too much because the particulates that come out of it could destroy the second cat. I have been driving it over two years now with it needing a cat so... I am just going to pray that since I have put less that 3k miles on it in those years it did not destroy the other one.

I think I am going to be sick. The Coolant temp sensor (my truck has 2 of them, thanks again Ford) is located under the intake manifold on the passenger side. You have to remove the intake manifold to get to it. Who the heck made that decision? The other one is located on the passenger side of the oil pan. So, replacing it means an oil change. Which I did last month. Replacing the one under the manifold is a $250 (honest mechanic) to $400+ (shyster mechanic) job. ridiculous for a $30. part.

It is interesting how the registration is $166 but getting it to pass smog is going to cost somewhere around $1,500. That is what I paid for the truck. Of course, that doesn't count all the money I have put into it since. I had to laugh when the loan company told me my truck is only worth $3,300. I have easily got double that into it right now before even paying for the cat replacement and the temp sensor install.

We don't watch the stupid bowl. I haven't watched one since around 1994, and my SO has never watched one. She did want to see the halftime show though, so around 6PM, I brought up Youtube on the Roku, and searched for bad bunny halftime. There must have been a half dozen full halftime clips to choose from. We watched it; she knows Spanish, so she could interpret some of it for me. I didn't understand it (my Spanish really sucks), but it looked like quite the dance party.
