Flat Tow Lighting/Wiring
I have a 2019 King Ranch F150 with the full LED Lighting system. I've been trying to wire the truck to be flat towed behind my RV. I've tried installing the Blue Ox BX88366 plug and play wiring kit for 2015-2020 F150 (twice, thinking the first might have been defective) but it just knocks out the brake light portion of the body control module, requiring the ignition be cycled to reset it. Blue OX customer support recommended I purchase the kit with four individual diodes and wire that in. My problem is, after looking into the four diode kit, I see there are also kits available out there that use "Smart Diodes" due to variable voltage use by some LED vehicles. Anybody deal with this yet that might offer some insight?
