Bed Replacement

Does anyone know appx how long it takes to remove and replace a bed on a 97 F250HD? Thank you, Chris

Eight bolts hold the bed onto the frame. You'll have to disconnect the fuel filler line(s) and brake lights too. I think you should be able to do this in a day or less.

You wouldn't happen to know how much these beds weigh, would you? Would I need a hoist, you think? C.

I don't know how much they weigh, but I've heard of two guys lifting a bed off. One sufficiently strong person may be able to lift one side at a time onto some stands and drive the truck out from underneath the bed.

A hoist or a few friends would be my choice.
