Brake lites

I really got it from my son the other day.. I was in a funeral line with my flashers on. As we drove, every time I stepped on my brakes my brake lites DID NOT come on. My son almost ran into me a couple of times. He drives a Chev and needless to say I really heard about my

Ford.

I would of thought that my brake lites would of at least gone on or the lite on top of the rear of my cab.

Have any of you had this problem.?? I drive a 2002 F250.

What is the fix..???

I haven't paid much attention to it but I think the flashers override the brake lights.

Yeah, my flashers override my rear brake lights. But my cab brake light still comes on.
