I have a 2023 6.7L F350 Tremor, XLT Premium with the 12" touchscreen. My GPS/map screen froze up but everything else in the radio works normally.. I brought it to Ford thinking that it needed a master reset, Ford kept the truck for 2 days and still couldn't fix it.. They say they're waiting for Tech to get back to them with a fix.. That was almost 3 weeks ago and they still have no answers. Has anyone else had this problem? Just want to reiterate that all other options in regards to the radio work fine. I can put in a destination, but the screen stays frozen..
The truck was at Ford for 2 days.. I would assume that they did that.. I dropped by towards the end of the 1st day to see if it was done, they had laptops hooked up to it and said they needed an additional day..
My 2024 did that. Nothing GPS related worked for a couple of weeks and I didn’t have time to take it in. I tried the various recommendations online, like disconnecting the batteries and pulling the TCM fuse and such. No luck. I changed the oil and when I reset the oil life monitor it triggered something and everything started working. It’s been fine since then.
yes for me it was my the module behind the seat that also allows you to use your phone to lock/unlock truck plus other things, let me guess it worked fine then you parked it and the next day inop.took the shop here fighting with ford for weeks to get them to authorize the damn module(tcm i think)
You are correct, that's exactly what happened. The truck still isn't fixed.. The dealer says they're waiting for Ford Tech to get back to them with a fix.. I think I'll stop by tomorrow and give the dealer another push now that I have an idea of what's wrong with the Nav.
yea not 100 percent sure think ford sent an update and crashed my module, when they test it it will probably have a code,it will pass the network test but they will not be able to update/reprogram the module. make sure they are running oasis and looking at fixes under other hotline reports as mine should be there, ask them to get their ford engineer involved as this is somewhat of a known issue.the pinpoint test runs the dealer tech in circles and never allows them to get a rvc code for them to be able to order the module.
I've had the exact same thing in my 24 a few weeks ago. I also noticed that the wifi was also inop as it couldn't find any ssid's but my phone showed 10. One morning I got into my truck to take it to the dealer and all of a sudden, everything worked. So far it's still working.
This happened about 2 months ago. Same as you, my wifi and phone app doesn't work either.. I'm going to stop by the dealer today and see what they say now that I know it's a common problem and not a "one off" the way they tried to characterize it..
Been there last year. My bet is that you have a bad telematics control unit. Judging from old posts on this forum it's more widespread than you'd think.

yup that moduke is #1 culprit
Tech should have updated it then
If needed replace it
There should be a tsb on it
Iirc the last update ota had a bit about that module
I just came back from the dealer, he checked and said Ford Tech hasn't replied back with a fix/update yet.. I showed. him a couple of posts that I printed out and he wouldn't even look at them.. He gave me the # to customer service with my R.O. #, Calling them now..

Doesn't sound like a person I'd want to deal with. If there were other nearby Ford dealers I'd be contacting them.
I once had an issue with Traction Control not working. It took 10 months and a lot of back and forth between the tech and Ford Engineering to finally get it fixed. The tech and the dealer's service people were very good to work with, Ford was the one dragging their feet.
When it was all said and done they gave me a free 3 year maintenance plan.
