Can anyone tell me how to do an effective search of threads on this particular forum? When I try to search using a keyword I get hundreds of results from all of the forums associated with this site. I want to search for threads on wiring kits for my 53 F100 with the 239 flathead V8. So far, the searches I have done have gotten me nowhere. TIA.
Using the phone I have to de-select the 'search all open forums' otherwise the filter work doesn't work. Except i never remember the first time I do it!
Even using the Advanced Search feature I have an incredibly hard time doing searches. I focus on the "search titles only" feature, because if I use the "search entire posts" feature I get a million hits, but I have to sift through them one by one to see if the info is there. I'm sure there are detailed answers to absolutely all of my questions buried deep in build threads, but for the life of me I just can't locate them. If anyone has tips on how to find info within the "search entire posts" feature, I'd love to hear them!

I hear you brother If all else fails i will use Google. Then you can use search engine tricks like quotation marks, AND etc
Same is true of a lot of some very expensive vendor websites where you just cant find things you know must be there.
